A story must have a plot. No exceptions. If there is no plot there will be no story. If you just randomize things you will confuse the crap out of your readers. And when readers are confused you won't get very good reviews. Also be original! Do NOT copy the ideas of others. Unoriginal stories are frowned upon and end up uninteresting and that is a turn off for potential readers. So come up with ideas. This may take some time but it is totaly worth it! Once you come up with an original story plot do some research and make sure you know the plot details inside and out backwards and forwards. Know the time period, landscape, buildings and archetecture, and weather. These are all very important details to research. Then once you have all of this figured out you can move on to developing characters. The topic of characters is found in a different blog post. Anyways after the characters comes the time to put the story together and make it really come to life. While putting it together you will want to make changes and that's ok but make sure you're sure of your descisions. The same with adding or taking something out of a story. Well that's all I got for plot.
I know I haven't blogged in a while, sorry, but I've been running out of deep thinking questions to ask so I'm going to talk about different topics of writing. The first topic that comes to mind is about characters. Characters can either be in first person, second person, or third person form. First person is when everthing is from the main characters point of view. They will usually use I or myself. SecOnd person point of veiw is from the writers point of view (very similar to third person) and usually includes more details about surroundings and other characters. Third person point of view is when the writer is writing specifically from their point of veiw by describing the main character(s), subordinate characters, and setting in more detail to bring the story to life and make the reader feel like a part of the story. Now for main characters, weather good or evil, they have to have a personal outlook on life. And they have to have certain personality traits that only that character can have. Take a villain for example, in a fan-fic story that I read the villain was a main character and had the outward appearance of an innocent woman when deep inside she was a psycopathic killing monster. Now if you want the main character to be a hero of some sort you'd think that he/she should be strong but that is not always the case. Herod can be found anywhere in any shape or form. I would give a hero a good heart and something to fight for though.

This week I'll be posting three questions the first question is What is true strength?
I believe that true strength is not based on how much you can lift, push, or carry. True strength is something that isn't always seen or noticed and may often be buried deep within a person. To release that strength there might have to be a challenging situation or an erge to do what you believe is right. Some examples would be to stand up to a bully, have confidence in what you say or do, or even prove others wrong about what they thought of you.
My friend Cassi- being strong. Having faith.

This weeks question is....How would you live your life if you only had one week to live?
Honestly I have no idea how I would live. I'd do all the things that I've always thought of doing but never did. Like skydiving, motorcycle ride, buy a cake from Cake Boss, finish my story, and anything else I can think of.

This weeks question is..."What is honor? Does honor matter anymore?"
Honor is defined as honesty, fairness, or integrity in one's beliefs and actions. A source of credit or distinction. High respect as for worth, merit or rank. All of these definitions describe the same thing. Honor. To me honor means that you are thought highly of or take pride in yourself no matter what other people think. The question asks, Does honor matter? Well in our current world its hard to say. There has always been social problems in te world of humans, but here in the twentyfirst century I believe that it's worse than ever. Illegal drug use has skyrocketed, Teen pregnancy rates have gone up, and everyone s so worried about new technology and the world ending. -_-
Okay for one todays society isn't necessarily familiar with true honor and self respect. There are shows on television about teens getting pregnant and since many people lack common sense other girls get pregnant because they think they're going to get put on a TV show. Well it's not going to happen. what their really doing is setting up to ruin their lives and the live of others around them. Other types of media promote drug and alcohol use and the way they advertise it is so people think it's a good thing to do it. What's up with that? It doesn't make you cool. As for technology, sometimes I fear that we have gone too far. We keep inventing things faster than consumers can buy them, ecause its expensive to upgrade to a "better" computer, phone, or mp3 player. But technology doesn't always have to do with computer chips. Medical technology as also advanced, maybe too far as well. Like the whole freezing your body until the future thing. You basically pay a LOT of money for nothing, because wouldn't the freezing kill you anyways? And if the world is to end, then let it end. If it is written in fatethat i'm supposed to die, then I guess I die.
Alright i'm done ranting :) Even though i've mentioned theses bad things their are good things too. For our fallen soldiers ad other heros we honor them by having memorials. For example during the 9/11 attacks many firefighters, police officers and other city sevice people were killed. They died to save the lives of other people, and by doing so they went above and beyond the call of duty. They deserve to be honored for their bravery.
So honor does still matter, even when it seems like it doesn't.

This weeks question is..."do you think crying is a sign of weekness or a sign of strength?"
I believe that crying can be a weakness as well as a strength. It can be a weakness because it shows that you are scared or hurt. It can also be a strength because sometimes when you're really stressed you just let it out and cry. And that's alright because you usually feel a whole lot better afterwards.
